Geocache Description:

To the North you will see a large collection of rocks, in an unusual arrangement. Some of these are definitely quartzite erratics, and part of the Foothills Erratics Train. However, the arrangement of the pieces almost seems as though some of these were moved here (perhaps by human/machine power) or this was at one time a much larger, single erratic and it was broken down. (Occasionally some erratics were even dynamited to break them up if they were in inconvenient locations.)

Regardless, some of these are definitely quartzite glacial erratics, and a testament to Alberta's last Ice Age, and the incredible power of ice. Check out the links below if you want to learn more about Alberta's Erratics.
