Take The Plunge
The Annalong Plunge Pool is located in the heart of the Annalong Valley in the shadows of Binnian, Rocky and Lamagan. It is a spot that holds lots of special memories for me as a child as it is just a really fun spot to walk up to for the day to take 'the plunge' and have some good craic with your mates. Pack a towel and some swimming shorts and enjoy finding the cache. Remember to post a picture of you "Taking the plunge'.

The cache itself is an orange dry box located to the side of the plunge pool. It is securely attached to its hiding place, please take care to securely replace the cache and not to drop it into the river while retrieving it. You will need to take the plunge to find the cache, climbing down to the cache is not a safe option! The easiest way to access the plunge pool is by walking up through Rourke's Park track leading up to the Binnian Tunnel, then follow the sheep track up the side of the Annalong river.
The cache is placed to give people a bit of fun, however it is important to remember to take care as the rocks can be extremly slippy and the water can be cold. Anyone attempting the cache does so at their own risk and no responsiblitly is assumed by the cache owner.
