The village Sveti Jakov has three main beaches, and also some additional hidden treasures. You can access this one by a short (200 m) swim or by foot (bring good shoes).
The village has very narrow streets, and it is therefore recommendable to park close to the main road (see the parking coordinates). From the parking place, there is a 5 minute walk to the Church of Our Lady. You pass the church on your right side and head towards the beach. Stop at the start of descent to the beach (see the coordinates) to enjoy the view towards Punta Križa.
Take the path down towards the beach and you will find a small bay with a pier. The easiest way towards the catche from the bay is by swimming or using an inflatable dinghy. The catche is located close to a pebble beach approximately 200 meters from the bay, on the left hand side. This is the way we recommend, just be careful with sea urchins when approaching the beach.
If you prefer walking, you can find a narrow pathway towards the beach, starting close to the bay, or simply climb the rocks (bring good shoes!). Ultimately, if you are a boat enthusiast, you can also approach from the seaside.
When you conquer the beach, you will feel like a true pirate, as it hosts a pirate cave and some hiding places. Be careful if you wish to climb the rocks, and note that rock climbing is not necessary to find the cache.
