奇美博物館位於台南都會公園內，佔地9.5公頃，以西方藝術為主題，展出藝術、歷史、人類學與科學四大領域，還有許多許文龍先生的收藏品。整座建築就像歐洲神殿宮廷般優雅，不管是博物館前的繆思廣場、阿波羅噴泉，和奧林帕斯橋上的眾神精緻雕刻，都讓人深深感受到浪漫的氛圍。主館和廣場區域才有時間上的限制，橋上和其他周圍皆24小時開放。
Chimei Museum located in Tainan Metropolitan Park, Rende District, Tainan City. Chimei Museum is a comprehensive museum with wide collections of Western art, musical instruments, weaponry and natural history. There are four exhibition rooms, one temporary exhibition gallery and a sculpture hall in the main building.
