Parks, Bridges, and Treasure Chests #1 Traditional Cache

We go to Hanes Park all the time and we were suprised there wasn't a geocache for us to find there. We hid it in a place you won't look strange searching for it. We tried to make this one a harder hide and it took us a bit to find the perfect place.

There are a lot of great parks in the Winston area that not only have play grounds but woods, creeks, and bridges. We thought we could make our first cache a part of a parks with bridges series. This is off the beaten path a bit but there is a trail and it's not too over grown. You won't look too strange when you're searching, people go down to play in the creek a lot and no one even noticed us hiding it. We found it best to park near the tennis courts and then walk to the actual playground area. You'll see the bridge right away but don't go across it you won't need to leave the creek bank to find this cache. Once you find this cache you can play in the creek, go to the playground or even cross the bridge to the track. We put quite a few items in this box that we like to find in caches so bring fun things to trade with. You are looking for a plastic container covered in silver ductape. The log is in a ziplock covered in the same ductape. There is a pencil in this cache. The coordinates are only accurate by about 30 feet. They will most likely take you to the middle of the bridge and you do not need to go that far. Someone did move it to a higher location we are going to move it back 8/24/16. Please replace the geocache exactly where you found it. Happy hunting!
