This is my Walk-about-Port Gamble cache, a must see place.. Port Gamble has always interested me, and yes I did the other caches in this town as soon as I started geocaching. I hope you find my cache as interesting.

Port Gamble was founded in 1853 and named in the honor of Lt. Robert Gamble, a soldier wounded in the War of 1812. The community was founded by A.J. Pope, Capt Wm. C. Talbot and Cyrus Walker and built to resemble their native town of East Machias, Maine.
Until 1995 this was the site of the oldest continuously operating sawmill in North America.

To complete this cache you must find and fill in information at various signs posted at buildings in the community. The signs are all red with gold lettering and are clearly posted outside each building in the town. All the signs used for this cache are within easy walking distance from the center of town near the water tanks, see picture below.
The cache is located at the following co-ordinates, now just complete the numbers with the correct information from below.
N 47 51.ABC x W 122 35.DEF.
A. Clarence and Lulu's house. Using the year that Lulu passed. Use the third number of that year as number A.
B. Market 1903. The last digit of the year the market moved into the store building. Use this number to complete B.

D. Franklin Lodge No 5 was not always at the present location. Use the third number of the year it was moved to complete D.
