Geocache Description:

This traditonal cache is in tribute to the first geocachers we met when we first started caching.  It is placed here because this is also a type of place that they enjoy another extracirricular activity at.  Please enjoy the view!

We placed this cache as a tribute to the Hudsons.  We met the Hudsons (aka mrahudson & mrsahudson) at a Leap Year event when we first started caching.  They actually hosted the event.  It had a great turn out and it was our first exposure to the geocaching community of cachers.  We even got to take home caching goodies which we had no idea we were going to be getting.  We were like little kids at Christmas time with bumper stickers, trackable TBs and we had such a great time eating Pizza and Drinking beer!  We had so many questions about caching that we were the last ones to leave the event and had the Hudsons engaged for most of the evening...lol!  They were very accomodating and answered all of our questions...every last one of them.  They made us realize that choosing to geocache was the right decision and that we were in for a boatload of fun...AND dissappointment!  It did not end there.  They gave us their contact information and we have phoned and texted them many times to get hints and help on many caches!  Just so you all know, mrsahudson keeps very detailed books on every cache they have found.  So they as a team are a wealth of information for beginning newbies @ geocaching.  And that is what they are most interested in.  They aren't competitive FTFers, it doesnt matter to them if they have to go back to a cache they have already found, to help other cachers enjoy the hunt & make the find, they enjoy hosting events and like helping new geocachers learn about caching & find caches.  Sure they enjoy the hunt themselves, but they are just a ball of fun (you should have seen their shirts for the Ugly Christmas Shirt competition @ Christmas in July-I voted for mrahudson's shirt but mrsahudson's was so cute with one of her pups on the front of it!).  They are always involved and so helpful no matter what.  Thanks to the Hudsons for being the great cachers that they are and for helping us get on our feet as beginning geocachers!
