Kakunodate town is called “Small KYOTO in MICHINOKU”.
In 1620, Ashina Yoshikatsu had built this town. At that time, many Samurai houses (about 80) were in the northern area, and commercial houses (about 350) were in the south of the town. Please bring your pen.
角館はみちのくの小京都と呼ばれています。１６２０年蘆名義勝によって作られました。当時町の北の部分におよそ８０の武家屋敷があり、南側におよそ３５０の商家があったそうです。筆記具を持参ください。
