The staff and volunteers at the Ritz Cinema have kindly agreed to put on a special screening of all the GIFF finalists.
If you came last year, you'll remember that GIFF Weekend is your chance to watch the entire reel of all the films that have made the final of the 2016 Geocaching International Film Festival. Over this weekend only, geocachers will host geocaching events at which these films will be shown publicly for the first time. So pop your popcorn, grab a friend, and get ready-it’s a global geocaching movie event!
The theme for this year's entries was "Story Worthy Moments". The finalists will be announced on 1st September.
There will be an official Groundspeak virtuAL souvenir displayed on the profile page of each cacher who attends this special event
The films themselves will be shown between 3.30pm and 4.30pm but come along at 3pm for pre-movie banter, trackable swapping etc. After the event there'll be time for discussions etc. Soft drinks, sweets etc will be on sale in the foyer before the film starts. Any unfinished geo-talk can continue in the pub downstairs for those interested, although this will be after the event itself
