Geocache Description:

We got jealous of all the “Trail to Eagle” series caches that our Cubmaster has seen, so we decided to do one of our own (Cub Scouts have ranks, too!). These have aptly been named “Getting On the Trail”.

All caches have been placed with permission (A Scout is Trustworthy).  DO YOUR BEST!

Updated the terrain rating on this one

WEBELOS is an acronym for WE’ll BE LOyal Scouts.  The rank was originally called Lion back in the 1930’s when Cub Scouts was founded.  The boys working for the WEBELOS rank are usually fourth grade or 10 years old. Here is where the boys are starting to transition into being Boy Scouts (and can actually go camping on their own as a den).

To earn the WEBELOS rank, a scout must complete five required adventures covering cooking, hiking, Duty to God, and fitness.  They must also earn their Cyber Chip.

Remember to DO YOUR BEST as you look for this cache.  It’s a pill bottle with a log.  BYOP.
