You can find the cache any time and sign the log. If you have not yet met the requirements you can log a "WRITE NOTE" and change the note to a found when you have completed the challenge. Proof requirements have been met can be a copy of the output script from the PROJECT GC checker (the link above) or a list of qualifying caches with GC code and dates or if it is on your public profile I could check it.
