Free parking is available at the Wild Burro trailhead (see coordinates). From the trailhead follow the Wild Burro trail (purple arrows) until it meets up with the Alamo Springs trail (green arrows). The hike round trip from the parking lot is only around 2.5 miles, but expect a fair amount of elevation gain to get to the cache. After you leave the trail it is an easy walk through open desert to make the find.
The cache offers great views of Wild Burro Canyon and the Ritz-Carlton. There is plenty of room in the logbook so feel free to write as much as you would like.

The cache is on State Trust Land and a permit is required to make the find. You don’t need a permit to hike on the trails but you need to have one in order to go off trail to find the cache. You can get permits here:

Be sure to bring a camera and plenty of water. Watch for the normal desert hazards, and have fun!
