6 years ago movie star Paul Newman anonymously stayed in Chiang Mai and rented this nice but surprizingly small house for a couple of weeks. Even though he is long gone now people in the neigborhood still call it "the house of Paul Newman", and this geocache will give you the chance to discover a genuine and very nice Thai neighborhood, quiet and far from the touristic and sometmes hectic experiences Chiang Mai offers, and get a glimpse of the everyday life in the Land of Smiles. A 3 minutes walk from this cache leads to a very beautiful and lively temple, the Wat Muang Kai. The Gymkana club is also pretty close.
