In Hochoetz erwartet euch eine spannende Entdeckungsreise durch die schöne Almlandschaft von Hochoetz über das ´Rote Wandl´ (Aussichtspunkt). Hier könnt ihr mit der Schatzroute den Schatz von Hochoetz erwandern. Erspäht auf der Route hinter Steinen, an Bäumen und an anderen ungewöhnlichen Plätzchen die kleinen Caches, die euch den Zugang zum Schatz von Hochoetz verschaffen.
Nun, wie funktioniert diese Schatzsuche hoch am Berg?
Die Schatzsuche Hochoetz besteht aus 5 Caches. In jeder Dose sind auf einem Zettel Geheimbuchstaben aufgeschrieben. Alle Buchstaben merken oder aufschreiben, denn nur wer alle Buchstaben hat, kann daraus das Codewort bilden. Mit diesem Codewort könnt ihr euch bei dem Panoramarestaurant ein Geschenk abholen! (bis 15 Jahre). Der Wanderweg zum Roten Wandl wird als Winterwanderweg präpariert.
Der Ausgangspunkt für die Runde ist die Bergstation der Acherkogelgondelbahn in Hochoetz. Achtung: Fahrzeiten beachten (zu finden auf www.hochoetz.at). Die Bahn fährt von ca. Anfang Juni bis Mitte Oktober und von Mitte Dezember bis Mitte April.
Solange auf 2.000 Metern kein Schnee liegt, kann man auch vom Ort Ochsengarten (9 km oberhalb von Oetz) zu Fuß entlang der Forststraße nach Hochoetz gelangen und die Runde machen.

(up to 15 years). The hiking trail to the Rote Wandl is prepared as a winter hiking trail.
The starting point for the round is the mountain station of the Acherkogel gondola in Hochoetz. Attention: Please note the travel times (can be found at www.hochoetz.at). The cable car operates from about the beginning of June to mid-October and from mid-December to mid-April.
As long as there is no snow at 2,000 meters, you can also walk from the village of Ochsengarten (9 km above Oetz) along the forest road to Hochoetz and make the loop.
