伊保商店，通称「イオヤ」は，大正13年(1924年)に建てられた石造２階建の堂々とした建物です。品揃えがきわめて豊富で，個性的な物が多数売られていています。角館には品揃えの豊富さを象徴するように，ホジなし(本地無し＝間抜け)に対して「イオヤさ行ってホジ買ってこい！」という常套句があるほどです。
