It is always cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It never stops...always moving. Even on the driest of days, it is still wet.
As Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers say,
"The shadow’s sway and seem to say 'Tonight we pray for water'…cool water And way up there He’ll hear our prayer and show us were there’s water. Cool water."
It is located on the grounds of a historic local landmark. This site is home to a 120 year old church, was once the site of a Bay Shore railroad station, and is the last known flowing artesian well in the area. You will be looking for a concealed fist-sized white and red vitamin bottle. Enjoy some "cool water" while you are there. Bring a pen (although a pencil is in the bottle).
