SIR LANNIE AT SIXTY !!!


This series of caches has been placed to celebrate Sir Lannie reaching the milestone age of sixty. In those sixty years he has had numerous interests and pastimes. He has, or still is, a radio ham, a cyclist, an astronomer, a golfer, a magician, a caravanner, a fisherman, a DJ and finally a geocacher.

This cache relates to Sir Lannie as a Fisherman. Being Wirral based all his life, and with so much water around, Sir Lannie has done much fishing. Freshwater from coarse to fly, and from beach to boat at sea. The waders are now useful for caching, as is the olive green waistcoat with all its pockets!


This is NOT a drive-by, it is a walk and replaces the previous “Sir Lannie – The Fisherman” (GC5M383) cache that was nearby. Allow time, plenty of time for this cache!!!

You must sign the log to claim a find. Ensure you note down the code on the logsheet as you will need it to find the final cache, “Sir Lannie – The Geocacher”.

Do NOT force anything or damage the cache, and please “reset” ready for the next cacher.
