Geocache Description:

Reach this spot on the slope of the mountain and enjoy a spectacular view from Cape Point to Kommetjie mountain. It's worth the quite steep effort up Mountain Rise rd. 


Park at the community centre in Melkhout road.  

Walk up Mountain Rise rd to meet Hilltop rd and then  look slightly upwards and north-west , to try and spot the position of the leaping leopard. Mark the spot of this overlooking guardian. 

Turn left and walk to the end of Hilltop (S 34°11.610' , E 018°22.484') and from there, Follow existing path to the firebreak. Follow the firebreak for about 20 meters, walking downwards, to the cross path. (S 34°11.605' , E 018°22.436) .
