As I was out chasing mongoose in Moanalua Valley, I stumbled across a Dragon’s nest with a single unhatched egg. Dragons are mythical creatures and while frequently seen around the Lunar New Year, it is uncommon to find one of their nests. While this nest is not behind a waterfall, it is close to the stream. Wanting to share my discovery with cachers everywhere, I was able to place a log sheet next to the egg using my canine skills of extreme stealthiness.
As you approach the cache, make sure you’re very quiet so you don’t wake the 4 siblings that have already hatched. They’re not big enough yet to breathe fire, but I did see smoke coming from their nostrils.
While there is no FTF prize in the cache, I did leave 5 of my pathtags behind.
