With every new incredible geocache container, every clever hide, every log that reads like an epic journey, it becomes more and more apparent: the geocaching community is one of the most creative groups of people on the planet. We’re going to showcase that creativity with the fourth-annual Geocaching International Film Festival right here in Tacoma, Washington at the beautiful Pacific Lutheran University campus.
The films begin at 6:00 PM in Xavier Hall, Room 201. You are invited to show up as early as 5:30 to chat with other geocachers from the area, sign the log-cache, and trade/discover trackable items. The event will end at around 7:00 PM. Feel free to search for many of the great Geocaches in the surrounding neighborhood before or after the event, including the GIFF 2015 Memento Cache (GC66HM9) from last year's film festival!
There is also all-you-can-eat dinner available for purchase right next door in the Commons at Anderson University Center, as well as the Old Main Market to stock-up on snacks and drinks for the screening!
Please make sure to post a "Will Attend" log if you're planning on attending this event. That way we know how many people to expect and we can make sure there is enough room for everyone. See you there!
