A micro cache hidden at the very historical Yukon Order Of Pioneers 8th Ave. Cemetery. Bring your own pencil/pen and tweezers!
This is the first cemetery of this charitable, fraternal organization which was founded at the Forty Mile gold camp in 1894. It still thrives today in Dawson City where Lodge No. 1 meets monthly. For many years their focus was to look after the welfare of “old- timers.” The old-timers are gone now and the focus of the Lodge today is to help those in need within the community. George Brimstone, founder of Discovery Days is buried here.After finding the cache, consider stepping into the shelter and reading the names of individuals buried here.
