Minnowburn is a green refuge set on the fringe of Belfast, It is owned and cared for by the national trust and this cache has been placed with their knowledge and permission. It is in the Lagan Valley Regional Park. Wooden chainsaw sculptures are dotted around the trail, there is a pond full of wildlife, and Terrace Hill has spectacular views of the Lagan Valley, to Beech woodland and the Lagan river. As well as guessing what the sculptures are about, see what wildlife you can spot.
This is a micro container with just a log so please bring your own writing impliment. it is hidden to be found so should be obvious at GZ.
Recommended parking is at Minnowburn Carpark and a walk to here should take no more than 10 mins.
It could be accessed ON FOOT from Giants Ring Road but DO NOT attempt to park on the bend of the narrow and surprisingly busy road.
