Geocache Description:

This is a nice easy cache located on a tree lined path leading to Helsby Hill

Once you have found the cache why not continue along the path and explore the hill and some of the other caches near by?

You are looking for a camouflaged micro, so please bring a pen or pencil with you.

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the local ranger and the National Trust.

Be aware that the extensive tree cover may mess about with your GPS.

I have placed this cache in order to show you one of my favourite places in Helsby.

Helsby Conker caves are special to me as I used to play there during the school holidays when I was younger

We would spend hours here making camp fires, cooking sausages, mucking about building dens, sitting chilling in the sun planning adventures and of course conker fights!

Unfortunately the young of today can no longer enjoy the same experience as the caves are fenced off due to them becoming dangerous.

Although they can no longer be accessed you can just see the caves to the right of the path opposite the big house as you walk up to the cache site.

I hope you enjoy your short walk to the cache in this lovely part of Helsby.

In order to access this cache please park carefully on Hill Road North and take a leisurely walk up to it.

With the cache placed back as found, why not try finding a conker and then have your very own conker fight just like I did all those years ago!
