It’s Sunday so it’s time to get out and hide 20 more caches so off Darrell and I went up and down a different road and we weren’t disappointed. I put caches along the way to get to a view point or two.
Instead of saying the same thing over and over for every one of the caches I placed today I’ll just say it here once but some stuff will be repeated as some needs repeating. I encountered several wasps, more wasps than skeeters so bring what you gotta bring. Also the road for this series is no problem for any vehicle however there are a few bumpy spots, ya just gotta take it easy at those spots.
There is a pencil in this camo’d smallish container and please ensure you replace the cache so it’s well hidden as unfortunately the area across from here is a party spot.
Shortly after we started this round of cache placements we met up with a fellow near “A Pit Stop V Tree” cache. He was checking his critter cams and informed us that about 2 hours ago he saw a 3 or 4 year old black bear on this road. There was no sign of any actual bears all through this series of cache placements although at “Rockyview” cache there was fresh bear scat, it was warm, and I touched it to test it. So bring bear spray or bear banger or whatever and come with a friend, do not do these caches on your own not just due to bears but you never know what can happen in our back countries or anywhere for that matter.
Thanks for the visits and Happy Geotrails to you and yours
