Most of the time, nature creates its own beauty - and sometimes people help! A local artist has created this unique balancing driftwood sculpture on Wellington's South Coast - which is also part of the Tapu te Ranga Marine reserve. Near here you encounter nature in the wild, above and below the sea, but fishing isn't allowed. Blue penguins nest near here too! Please keep your dog on a lead. Enjoy the view all the way to the South Island.
