A hike from the campground up to the viewpoint above.
We enjoy the whole Chain Meadows Trail, of which the short hike to the lookout is a part. We recommend continuing on across the plateau past Chain Lake, up over the Easter Bluffs, over to the Clearwater Lake Viewpoint and back down to the boat launch.
The cache is hidden just off a short spur trail which follows the rim overlooking the falls. Look on the side of the trail away from the view.
