Geocache Description:

This cache is designed to be a fairly quick cache 'n' dash at a site of local historical interest.

Having lived in the village for 10 years, and passing this spot twice a day for most of that time, I never knew, until recently, the historical significance of this stone. To me, it was just the seat where a local muggle often sits on a sunny afternoon to watch the world go by. Please take time to read the plaque before hunting out the prize.

Also note the name of the location, 'Cross Hill'. When I was finding the co-ordinates for the cache, my GPS told me it was a whole 7m above sea level!

You will need tweezers and please BYOP.
