2016 WSGA Puget Sound Holiday Party X
At the Greater Maple Valley Community Club, just off of highway 18.
Come celebrate the holidays one last time for the season with your old geocaching friends and maybe even meet some new ones too. This event is open to any and all cachers. Additionally this is the 10 annual Holiday party for the Puget Sound chapter, so it's an extra special time and we will have an extra special game for us to celebrate the occasion with.

There will be 2 prize drawings at this event, plus the gift exchange.
As always there will be an area for trackable trading, and the potluck!
Theme: Game Night! Yes, that's right it'll be game night, which means we will have a fun Geocaching / WSGA Trivia game for all to play!
Schedule:
Before 3PM come early and go caching there are lots in the area!
3:00PM - 7:00PM Potluck / Dinner, followed by General Announcements, WSGA members drawing, early bird drawing, and gift exchange.
After event - Your assistance cleaning up is always appreciated. This year we have the hall until midnight so we can stay and solialize just as long as you all want, and it's a Saturday night so feel free to stay a while!
If you go caching before the event and the dish you are bringing for the potluck is a crockpot or needs to be refrigerated feel free to drop it off at the hall anytime after 1PM.
Gift Exchange: Instead of a raffle we'll be doing the traditional gift exchange, here's how it works. Bring one wrapped gift (worth about $10) to exchange for each person that would like to receive one. Gifts that fit the geocaching lifestyle are the most appreciated. To expedite the gift exchange, we'll have a drawing for the gifts and keep what we get. If you want to trade with someone afterward, you're on your own.
The Early Bird Drawing: Post your will attend before midnight on January 14th and your name will be entered into the drawing for the early bird prize. Please note the number of folks you will be bringing in your log, that will determine the number of entries you will receive for this drawing.
The WSGA Members Drawing: Bring your current 2016, or 2017 WSGA badge to the event; show it at the welcome table to be entered into a drawing for an extra special gift as a thank you for supporting WSGA, if you haven't renewed for 2017 you will be able to at the event. If you're not a WSGA member we encourage you to support club sponsored events like this by signing up online or in person at a WSGA event. Please note that you must have your 2016 or 2017 badge with you or you must sign up at this event in order to be in this drawing.
We will have club information and you can sign up or renew your WSGA membership at this event.

This is a potluck event, please bring a dish to share. Below is a food list and who is bringing what, but please don't be limited to the list below they are just ideas, feel free to bring what you want, even better if it is Holiday themed. There is a kitchen in the hall, and a refrigerator for our use, bring a crockpot if you like. Please mention what you are bringing in your log and we'll add it to the list.

Holiday Party History: As mentioned in the begining this is the 10th Annual WSGA Puget Sound Holiday party. The first Holiday Party was held on 12-30-06, in Bellevue. Though the chapter reps have changed over time, as well as the venues and date, this event has become a chapter tradition put on each year. Just for the record, because I know someone will point this out if I don't, I am aware that there were WSGA holiday parties put on before 06, but 06 was the first P/S "chapter" holiday party.
