Every Spring, geocachers gather together for a global CITO Week. For the first time in geocaching history, there will be an Autumn CITO Week from September 17 – 25, 2016. You can earn a new souvenir by attending one of the CITO Events held during that week.
Here's our plan for
SATURDAY, September 17th:
.
.
Check in will begin at 2:30pm.
Various sized T-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis (so you may want to be on time)!
The gloves provided are one-size-fits-all and grabbers are limited; so for those experienced CITO cachers, feel free to bring your own gloves and grabbers!
All participants will be asked to sign in and provide a emergency contact number. After everyone has checked in, it will be time for a quick announcement with the rules of the CITO. Our area of responsibility is along the banks of the Trinity River, from (roughly) the Hulen Street bridge to the West Rosedale Street bridge. See the map!
We will be working in a widely-varied environment. Expect trees, thorns, possible Poison Ivy, possible snakes and many other natural obstacles. You'll need to 'govern yourself accordingly'!
CITO clean up is from around 3pm to 5:15pm.
Gear turn in and trash bag collection from 5:15pm to 5:30pm.
Thanks in advance for your help and participation. See you there!!
