Geocache Description:

Last of 26 on the Civic Center Trail.

Mini-container, so BYOP and TOTT.

CONGRATS TO AZ Borrowers FOR FTF!!

The Fountain Hills’ Civic Center Trail was the first trail opened under the Town’s Urban Trail Plan called FIT for Fountain Hills Integrated Trails.

The trail was dedicated and opened in early 2013 after two years of planning and development. As of April 2019, a number of additional trails are being planned and will be opened as funding permits.

The Civic Center Trail features spectacular scenery with the Fountain Hills World Famous Fountain, and views of the McDowell, Four Peaks and Superstition Mountains. The trail is 3.2 miles in length over relatively level ground and begins and ends at Fountain Park. The trail will take people through some quiet residential streets before returning to and travelling through the Fountain Hills downtown retail area. This area includes retail shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

See the attached map for the specific path that travels from Fountain Park up El Lago Boulevard to Mountainside Drive, then to Palisades Boulevard, then to Websty Drive, then to Avenue of the Fountains, then to Saguaro Boulevard, and finally back to Fountain Park.
