Dutch Reformed Church in Jeffreys Bay (Da Gama Rd)

During 1969 the Dutch Reformed Church formed a new congregation in the little town of Jeffreys Bay. As a gift the congregation received the church hall in Da Gama Rd, 3 plots and R6000 in cash from the Humansdorp congregation.
Services were held in the church hall.
Rev G Le Roux from Luckhoff was appointed as the first minister and Rev PS Bester, LJ Roos and CC Bond also preached here.
In 1994 Paradise Beach was also incorporated.
This church in Da Gama road was built at a cost of R140 000 and was inaugurated on 17 December 1977. The organ was purchased from the Frankfort congregation.
