Geocache Description:

Spring into Geocaching!

GeocachingNSW would like to extend an invitation to all geocachers to come along to our Spring 2016 Event. Come join us at The Spit Reserve for some Geocaching fun!.

The event will be held at the picnic area, near the playground at the posted coordinates. The event is a meet and greet and will be held on Sunday, 25th September, 2016, commencing at 10am and concluding around 2pm.

A member of the committee will be arriving early to hopefully secure a spot but please bring picnic blankets, chairs, and don't forget a hat and sunscreen. BYO all your food and drink requirements for the day. There are barbecues nearby too.

An optional part of the day, for the more adventurous, is for some kayaking on Middle Harbour. There are plenty of kayak-access geocaches in the area and many other sights around. For those that don't have their own kayaks, they can be hired from the business across the road from the event (refer to the associated waypoint) at reasonable prices.

Events are a great way to meet new people and make new friends with a common interest, pick up the latest information on equipment, techniques and software and share stories about the latest caching adventure. You may even pick up a hint or two on those annoying DNFs.

Please post a “Will Attend” log and add this event to your watchlist so that you will receive any announcements that are made. If you have any questions, please contact us at contact@geocachingnsw.asn.au

We look forward to seeing you there, paddlers and all!

Cheers,

Geocaching NSW Committee
