Geocache Description:

Mystery Cache inspired by LCSM's "Maple Grove Seed Cache", here at the lovely Oneida Castle Cemetery.

We need to solve more mysteries in the area!

+++The Cache is NOT at the listed coordinates++

The camo'd pill container is NOT touching any of the graves!

Please be careful not to touch any headstones.

  1. Enter the cemetery at the posted coordinates.  Drive or walk to a central location.  Most of the graveyard will be visible, it's not that large.  You will see what you need from the middle...
  2.  MANY MARBLE MONUMENTS: Which is tallest?  There is "1" that is very much taller than any others!
    • Go to this monument and get clues for your first "N" coordinate.
    • N 430 A.BCD
    • A=  "First Isaac" lived how many decades in the 1800's?
    • B= total # of lettersnumbers in 3rd line for both "Isaac" sides (will be the same in both cases)
    • C= # Wives of Issac C.
    • D= Edgar's side: How many letters in the 2nd word of the 4th line?

    3. SCARCE STEEL STONES: There is a head"stone" that is not "stone!" Walk about 15 paces Northeast and locate this distinctly-colored              "STEEL STONE"!  Answers for the second, "W" coordinate are here.

  • W750 EF.GHI
  • E= # links in chain shown (Factoid: this chain is the symbol for members of the "Odd Fellow Society", the letters stand for "Friendship, Love, and Truth")
  • F=On the side with the surname that appears 6 times, the # of letters in this surname
  • G= # Letters in Morgan's surname
  • H= the number of Sides the monument has (not counting top or bottom)
  • I= One man died at Gettysburg (Presumably during the Civil War) in 1863. How many letters do his first name + middle initial contain? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Gettysburg

I have loaded the cache with bracelet, toy, buttons, and a few of my "Fairy Necklaces" which are a great size for most of the smallest caches out there.  Enjoy the serenity of this location and please respect posted hours and rules. No night caching here.

** Congrats to Detective LCSM for FTF with second-spy Magoering sliding into second!***
