I placed this cache on my birhtday to embelish this neighborhood park and historic location. Happy Caching! Watch for muggles big and small!
Around this time summer is always winding down, so to make things interesting (and as a birthday gift to me), log your favorite aspect of summer when retrieving your smiley
, Pretty please. It can be anything from various sunny activities to certain seasonal food. Thanks! Have fun!
This field used to be the site of Slocum Truax High School which closed in July 1979 and was demolished in 1980. All that remains is the headstone located on the far east side of the park. The baseball diamond was dedicated in honor of the recreation commision's chairman and lifelong resident, Clarence "Bud" Ennis in 2013, who graduated from Slocum Truax High School in 1944. During that time he played ball in this very field.
Many youth baseball teams still use the field today, so it's best not to make the find during a game.

Congratulations to destinydecaminada & C_Adkins for FTF
