Perhaps you're visiting Magpopongko, or you've made the decision to stay on this more tranquil part of the island. Whatever the case, Pacifico is a worthwhile place to visit. I personally enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean here as there aren't any other land forms obstructing the view, making the island feel more wild.
The folks up here are a different sort as well, as there are less people on this part of the island. Locals will give a warmer smile and the resort owners will gladly chat for hours. Pacifico has the true laid-back island feel you might be looking for.
Pacifico is also well known for its surf. Many travel up from GL because the waves are less crowded there's more swell than other areas of the island.
