Cimitero di guerra inglese a Rivotorto di Assisi. Qui riposano le salme di 949 Caduti del Commonwealth, per la maggior parte provenienti dal Regno Unito. Nella quasi totalità delle lapidi è riportato il nome ed il cognome del militare caduto, il grado e il corpo di appartenenza, unitamente alla data di morte ed all’età. Nelle grosse lastre in marmo che ricoprono le colonne della cancellata di ingresso sono riportate scritte, date e riprodotte delle stelle. Davanti all’entrata un grosso monumento a forma di croce è posto a ricordo dei Caduti.
Vi potrete quindi dedicare ad una caccia in questo rilassante luogo, dal quale si gode inoltre di una bellissima vista di Assisi.

In almost all of the tombstones you can find the name and surname of the soldier, the degree and the membership body, together with the date of death and age. In large marble slabs that cover the columns of the entrance gate there are writing, dates and reproductions of the stars . At the entrance a big monument shaped as a cross is placed in memory of the Fallen. You can therefore find our cache in this relaxing place and enjoy an awesome view of Assisi.
