Geocache Description:

This geocache is on the river between Crowe Lake and Belmont Lake. Please use the boat launch at the posted co-ordinates so you do not trespass to get to it.

Avian Keratin Disorder - a beak deformity, likely caused by environmental toxins, pollution, chemicals.

Dreamcacher and Inuksuk took 50 photos of this bald eagle at the mouth of the river between Belmont Lake and Crowe Lake. As Dreamcacher was taking the photos, she said aloud, "I think there's something weird with this guy's beak"

Sure enough, when we looked at the photos, we realize he has a deformity, that is, unfortunately, common among birds these days. This causes me to wonder what on earth we are doing to the earth?

Fortunately, this guy seems to be okay. He was with his mate, and seems to be in good health, otherwise.
