This is the fourth in the 'seed cache' series started by nzkites to make the trip along this highway more fun (for cachers). Feel free to add your own cache along the way.
You'll need to leave SH29 to find this one, but only just. It's a left turn if you are heading to Tauranga.
Te Poi is a village at the base of the Kaimais. It was established in 1912 in the centre of a dairy farming district.
The Te Poi Pub, or 'Big Cow' was established in 1980. It is a local meeting place for bikers, clubs and families.
The cow arrived in 1995. It was later given eyes that light up at night and was fitted with speakers (to play moosic?)
There used to be a cache at the business end of this beast, but this one has been placed well away from her, with the hope that it will not be found inadvertently. Please tuck it away again well after you have found it.
We don't intend it to be a difficult find for geocachers, so we have provided a decent hint.
