Luogo di partenza: Riale (1729 m) raggiungibile in auto (Strada Statale del Sempione SS 33-Formazza-Riale) e e solo in estate in bus (linea Domodossola – Formazza)
Da Riale si prende il sentiero G20 che taglia i tornanti della strada per il Passo San Giacomo. Al termine della ripida salita si continua lungo la strada che prima raggiunge il Rifugio Maria Luisa (2160mt.), quindi sale alla Diga del Lago Toggia.

Starting point: Riale (1729 m) reachable by car (Highway SS 33-Simplon-Formazza Riale) and only in summer by bus (line Domodossola - Formazza)
From Riale you take the G20 path that cuts the road bends to the Passo San Giacomo. After the steep climb you continue along the road before reaching the Refuge Maria Luisa (2160mt.), then ascends to the Lake Toggia Dam.
