Farmer Giles was tinkering with a valve on his tractor alongside a road with a trailer load of fertilizer. Tim a little boy of eight was playing football in midfield nearby, when he saw the farmer. He left the game and wandered over to the farmer and asked 'What have you got in your trailer?'
'Manure,' Farmer Giles replied.
'What are you going to do with it?' asked Tim.
'Put it on my strawberries, they become firmer and juicier' answered the farmer.
Tim replied, 'You ought to come and eat with us, we put ice-cream on our strawberries.'
