Geocache Description:

Cache In Trash Out is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 240,000 people have volunteered at 11,000 CITO events.

Every spring, geocachers gather together for a global CITO Week. For the first time in geocaching history, there will be a fall CITO Week. You can earn a new souvenir by attending one of the CITO Events held during that week.

Place: Tanguisson Beach Park

Date: Saturday, September 24, 2016

Time: 9 a.m. to 12.

All geocachers, their families, friends and the general public are invited to attend this free event! This will be a potluck affair so we are asking everyone to bring a favorite dish. Soft drinks and water will be provided.

Please let us know if you will attend by clicking on "Log Your Visit" in the upper right hand corner of this page. Then, under "Type of Log", select "Will Attend". Under comments please let us know how many will be attending and what you will be bringing for the potluck. This will help us in our planning for this event.

We are looking for assistance in the following areas:

1. Canopies
2. Tables/chairs

We also welcome any donations that can be used as door prizes. As a reminder, I still have bags and some gloves, but if you have your own gloves please bring them.
