That s why our geocache IS ON AN ISLAND AND YOU HAVE TO SWIM TO REACH IT !
After you enjoy the Kalamaki beach and restaurant, swim to the island.
Take shoes with you as the rocks are pointy and could harm your feet.
Dont try to get to the cache when there are heavy waves. There is no beach for safe landing with a boat.
From the cache island you can see the penninsula with the Temple of St,Apostles to the East and have a beautiful view on the beaches of Chania.
You dont need to take your phone or GPS with you and risk to get it wet. It is an easy, Cretan way cache, hidden in the center of the island.
The pencil is inside as well.
PLEASE, take care the you dont wet the logbook so it may remain dry for next geocachers !!!
CAREFULLY hide the container so it get not smashed by stones.
CLOSE the lids of the containers tightly.
There are a few toys for kids in the cache, but we dont recomend little children to swim to this rocky island.
