Eastside Cemetery is on Hell's Hill in Addison and looks out over the Pleasant River. In August, enjoy a snack of wild blueberries. Take time to investigate the cemetery, including visiting the grave of Oscar Lowell Look, who was captured in the Philippines during WW II, and survived the Bataan Death March. For 3 1/2 years he was a POW to the Japanese. Oscar came home and married his sweetheart, but unfortunately, their first child Patricia died as an infant. In the older part of the graveyard, you will find "Little Eddie" Look who died at the age of 4. Far in the back left corner of the graveyard is another sad story, Fellows Plummer lost both of his children in 1851, Averlena (aged 2) and his son Sewell (aged 8).
