An informal gathering hosted by a Santa Clara newcomer who'd like to meet local cachers.
I am moving to Santa Clara from Chicago, and what better way to meet the local cachers than host an event as soon as I get into town? It'll be at the Panera at El Camino Real and Scott Boulevard in Santa Clara on Monday 9/12 at 7:00 p.m., ending at 8:30 p.m. or so. Look for the woman wearing a blue Geocaching HQ t-shirt! This is an informal event, a chance for locals to see old friends and (hopefully!) make at least one new one, and an opportunity for me to get my bearings in my new home. Bring any travel bugs you want to pass along - I'll have a bunch from Chicago and from all the TB hotels I visit during my road trip west!
