Veterans Park Candy Dispenser Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SassySquatch76: I've decided to archive this cache because I no longer live in Florida and can't keep up the needed maintenance. The geocache had a good run! Thanks to sandbaggers1 for routinely checking the cache and picking it up now that I'm archiving it!

Geocache Description:

Veterans Park Candy Dispenser

This candy originally started in Vienna, Austria by candymaker Eduard Hass III. The peppermint sweets were originally served in metal tins (Similar to modern day altoid mints), but eventually were transferred into containers known as 'Regulars.' The 'Regulars' were square boxes with a metal flip top. It wasn't until 1955 that the candy dispensers started to have heads. This was when the candy was first introduced to the United States. Since then over 1500 Unique Candy Dispensers have been released.
