Well the Rio Olympics have come and gone and weren't they a true celebration of sport? We came second (!!!) in the medals table, world records were smashed, and those innovative Brazilians invented green water.
Athletes from all over the globe came to represent their country in the hope of winning Olympic medals. Lots of them did (especially Team GB - right I'll stop going on about it now) and two medal ceremonies are pictured below. Let's hope they got the stars on the flags pointing in the right direction!
