I am always impressed by this historic, thousands of years old jewel, the well hidden megalithic portal tomb of Meehambee .
Please be careful: no stones of the old stone wall need to be moved to find and log the geocache!
Nowadays, detailed information signs explain the background of the site, and maybe this cache will help to get the place the attention it deserves?
The cache is easily accessible with only approximately 5 min drive off the M6, at a small side road which starts opposite a well known pub. Parking is available at the beginning of the 500 m long walking trail. The terrain rating refers to the rather challenging side road leading to the parking space, the actual location of the cache is quite easily accessible. My personal recommendation: take your bike! I did this many a times when I was still living in nearby River Village.
The cache includes the logbook and various pens at the beginning.
Enjoy the peace of the location!
Since the cache is located in a predominantly English speaking country, I recommend to write logs in English. You may write me a personal note in Deutsch, Espanol, Francais or Svenska, and I am happy to assist you with the translation.
Of course, logs as gaeilge are not only welcomed, but highly appreciated.
