Geocache Description:

bowling league is a group event where several teams bowl against each other over the course of a season. Most bowling leagues consist of four team players that meet up once a week or once every other week, usually at the same day and time.

Thank you for visiting our cache!

When you are a league bowler, you get 5-10 minutes of practice before competition starts. Then the announcer says, "Good Luck and Good Bowling!"

Some bowling terms/lingo:

Sandbagger: A bowler who keeps his average down in order to receive a higher handicap.

Shadow ball: A ball rolled in practice without any pins set.

Sleeper: A hidden pin left behind another pin after the first ball roll. These are the 8-pin behind the 2-pin, the 9-pin behind the 3-pin and the 5-pin behind the headpin. This is also occasionally referred to as a "ninja pin", because the pin is hidden from sight, similar to the stealthy form of combat utilized by ninjas in fiction.

Look for a small camoed container, big enough for small swag or a small trackable. Not too many visible muggles but that could change. BYOP
