Lungo la Piave Vecchia [3]
La Piave Vecchia, corso d’acqua di collegamento tra gli splendidi e delicati ecosistemi del Sile e del Piave, è stata un’area di fondamentale importanza per l’economia locale, basata soprattutto su pesca e coltivazioni e oggi importante risorsa turistica; un tempo fronte delle battaglie della Prima Guerra Mondiale, oggi luogo in cui ritrovare la pace e la serenità attraverso passeggiate ed escursioni.

The Piave Vecchia connects the beautiful and delicate ecosystems of the Sile and the Piave river. It was an important area for the local economy, mainly based on fishing and farming. Today the Piave Vecchia is an important tourist resource. Once it was front of the battles of First World War, today it is a place of calmness and serenity through walks and excursions.
