Geocache Description:

A day in the life......................

There was a strong north wind blowing as the sun came up over the mountains. It was the 2nd of July and the pocket monsters were having their 1st meeting about a new app that was coming out soon. The app would make it easier for humans to catch them all so needless to say they were more than just a little concerned. Sinnoh legends had predicted this event long ago but nobody really believed it back then. Mr. Mime ate a quick and silent breakfast then headed out to Snorlax’s mega mansion just two blocks away. He was early and there were only two others there. He didn’t say hi, just waved, since he doesn’t talk. It was his job to transcribe the meeting so he wanted to get a good spot before the room filled up. It was already nine o’clock but they were waiting until there were representatives from all of the eighteen Pokemon types. Blastoise, Golem, and Gyarados lived far away in the west and decided to carpool so they could take turns driving. Unfortunately they got lost and ended up going 158 miles off course because they refused to ask for directions. They were not happy and blamed Alakazam since he gave them bad driving instructions. It’s hard to say why they asked a psychic for directions because everybody knows that wizards travel using their psychic abilities, that’s why they get around so fast. Asking him for directions was just ridiculous!! But then again, those three aren’t known for their thinking skills. Finally, everybody was there and after a few minor arguments with zero injuries the meeting began and spirits were high. Of course somebody brought nine cases of raspberries to share, just in case anybody needed calming down at any point. It was turning out to be a hot summer day so Pidgeotto used his giant wings to keep the room cool but that just caused problems for Weezing who is apparently allergic to Mewtwo who was shedding because of the stress and the wing-flapping was blowing fur everywhere. THAT turned into a big snotty mess that wasted a fair amount of time. After ten hours of discussion, nobody was able to come up with a decent plan that would keep them from being caught unless they all went into hiding, which most did not want to do. Although they had a super secret lair that was perfect for getting away from human folk, it wasn’t big enough for all of them and the fights would be a major problem so that was not a practical option. Finally, Dragonair suggest that they just let themselves be caught by the humans but with a little catch: some of the best fighters should remain in seclusion and would only appear to certain humans when (or if) they felt like it and only on very, very rare occasions. I’m sure you can all guess who were chosen for such elusive status. Anyway, Geodude quickly concurred with the decision just so the meeting would end and he could run out for a FTF on a geocache he had been watching on his phone all day. So until we’re lucky enough to see one of those rare Pokemon, catch what you can, be nice, and load up on raspberries: maybe they’ll pay you a visit and you can catch ‘em all.
